Car was amazing! Great modifications done to it, the exhaust sounded aggressive but not too loud, the I’m pretty sure the coilovers are an expensive set of Ohlins and they handle amazing. The only issues were sometimes it was hard to get into 1st gear, and the tires were a bit cheap and a little low on tread, but luckily it didn’t rain too much / wasn’t too cold so it wasn’t a problem! Other than that, amazing car and I’m definitely renting again next time I visit!

Car was great. So fun and sounds awesome! I had forgotten how fun driving can be. Interactions with the host were great. I’d definitely do it again.

Second time renting this miata!
Tastefully modded with a mild exhaust (doesn’t destroy your ears with droning on the highway), good brakes, lightened flywheel (still suitable for daily driving) and a roll bar.
Drop top is a must if you’re renting in california. (Come on, live a little)
Great turo hosts, they make it easy to find the car and maintain it very well. (Last rented it with 50k miles now has 70k and still going strong)
More than likely will be renting it again next year if it’s available. You’re already looking at miatas if your reading this review, its a good choice for the city or just outside the city. Fits everywhere and fun on the winding roads.
