The owners vehicle rear break lights were inoperative as I did not know. I got pulled over for this and now have to deal with the issue out of pocket.

I apologize that a brake-light bulb went out during your trip. Had you told me that you received a citation for the brake light, I would have been happy to address the issue and take care of it for you. Unfortunately, you chose to go this route, even though you told me the citation was for not having insurance coverage after declining Turo’s protection plan. There is not much I can do regarding that citation.
