Car was super clean, which was great. The brakes were pretty noisy—it sounded like the brake pads are worn out (metal grinding sound), this is my only complaint about the car.
I thought it was contactless pickup, but it was not, this was my misunderstanding.
However, it resulted in losing the first hour of my reservation as the owner wasn’t available to meet (ten minutes after my reservation began).
Remote check-in would be preferred so there is flexibility on timing for pickup and drop off.
Quite disappointed by the feedback. Renter has zero communication prior to pick up and just assumed that she could check in remotely. Funnily enough, she thought Turo is ZipCar and all the dynamics were similar.
When I did finally meet the renter to hand over the car, her attitude was extremely rude.
Brakes on the car have been tested. There are no issues. Car has also passed the annual inspection test by Turo.
