I loved driving around in this little car! I literally kept saying to myself, I think I want this one next… parking was incredible, the convertible feature was so much fun, and I would absolutely rent it again! And remember.. it’s an older car, but a very good one! The host was extremely helpful with any questions I had throughout the trip, and I would rent from him again :)

The car was older than expected. It’s nice to move around San Diego, but not fit for longer distances. It makes a lot of noise and you’re constantly aware that you’re driving a very old car.

Josh is professional and responded quickly. The battery died after I forgot to turn off the headlights. He was able to get someone out and fix it at no cost.
The car is old and jittery when driving slow, but was smooth when on the highways. Good for a few days drive and if you dont need to travel too far.

Sputtery and bumpy during the drive. The car is older and didn’t work well for my trip. The key fob stopped working and the car didn’t un/lock properly, even with the physical key. I didn’t feel safe using the car anymore so I had to call for a tow to get it returned to the owner and ended my trip early. Would not recommend this car. Tried to coordinate with the host to resolve issues but he was unavailable.

You had a simple issue of the key fob battery dying. I suggested changing the battery which was likely the issue. When that didn’t work, you had Turo tow the car back which was totally unnecessary as it was in perfect driving condition with use of the hard key. When I received the vehicle I found that you put the battery in the key fob upside down. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle or key fob whatsoever and this could have been avoided by following proper instructions.
