The host was great, but the car took a lot of planning and time to charge. Honestly, I’d rather just pay for gasoline.
I would rent a different vehicle with the host. If you do use the Nissan leaf the charging station at fashion valley mall was pretty close.

The opportunity to rent an EV and not have to pay. Gas. Prices is incredible. You do have to pay $20 to get the car out of parking. So factor that in but that pays in comparison to how much she would normally pay in gas for any other car. The car itself is easy and nice. And a great ride. Love it.

Good trip; didn’t realize we needed to charge the EV back up, and it wasn’t super easy finding fast, compatible EV charging in downtown San Diego. Make sure to leave plenty of time for return!
