Good host and picking up the car was smooth. The C300 Cabriolet had light damage to the trim hut nothing catastrophic. The host graciously notified me of this. The car hadn’t been driven recently and was warming up and driving better the second day. Unfortunately while on the highway, the benz entered limp mode. 60 mph limit, tach limited as well, car rattling from only 3 cylinders firing. I barely made the remaining 10 minutes to the destination as the car violently rattled. I had just filled the car up with gas too.

Car was a bit beat up but ran well. Easy pickup. One tire was losing air since I picked it up and ended up going flat on me during my trip, requiring a tow. Luckily this was right before the end of my trip and the host was easy to work with to get the car back in their possession.

Car was pretty beat up compared to the pictures. If I had known the condition, there is no way I would’ve rented this car. Honestly, I don’t think this should be listed to rent Turo. It’s got around 120,000 miles. The car constantly kept changing back to kilometres. The creeks and shakes. They’ve even redone part of the inside interior with tinfoil. Oil light came on mid drive.
