Hyundai Elantra

This was my first experience using Turo and didn’t know what to expect. The car was clean and as expected. The host was very helpful in providing detailed instructions and pictures to help with pick up and drop off. They even went out of their way to make sure I had the instructions in my messages which was very helpful when I dropped off. Only complaint is that I didn’t know exactly where on the street the car was when my uber dropped me off at the address, but not much you can do to prevent that when you’re utilizing street parking. It only took a minute or so to find, but it would be helpful to know which street it’s parked on since the address takes you to a cross street. Overall, I would recommend this host and use them again if I’m back in the area.

The car was a good price and clear instructions. I would say that I would be a bit hesitant to rent again simply due to the pickup location. This area is just a bit seedy at night, especially as a solo woman. If your pickups are daylight hours it would be more comfortable for sure. I did mention to the owner that the transmission felt funny and he did say it was because it is a sports model and he's had it all checked out, but that thew me off a bit too when accelerating. If those things are fine with you then again, it worked well and was good value.

Car was okay, the ac started to have some issues mid trip and felt as if it had some engine problems. The carports did not charge our phones at all
