I disputed charges and given a refund .
I hope this helps another customer . I rented this car due to Price. Rented for Monday-Thursday.
Early on the car struggled changing in the lower gears . Got on the freeway at higher speeds and it seemed to be fine but I didn’t want the possibility of getting stranded so I texted and called host about the issue .
He apologized for his impatience with me as I explained the situation and asked me to return the car . I clarified if I will get a refund and another vehicle. He said yes. I drive an HOUR back . I return the car and he tells me he will refund 3 days and charges me for the day but he will refund that also .
He doesn’t have another car for except for 1 which is $400 a day. I am left on the curb with my luggage waiting for an Uber .
I could not find another rental on turo for the same day and/or the remains days of my trip .
By the time all was said and done all car rentals were closing/closed except for airport rentals $$$
My trip had to be cancelled as it was time sensitive.
AND….. I get a fuel invoice . (The car was not full to begin with)
I disputed ALL charges and was refunded COMPLETELY .
This is the first rental I have used that the host was running a dealership type of lot . NEVER AGAIN.
Only rentals from individual owner from now on .
This is the only time I have had an issue with TURO.

Easy pick up and drop off. Accommodating, and responsive. The car was clean, and reliable. Great car for going around the city and easy to park and the sunroof is a great feature!
