The host was very polite and responded incredibly fast, which made communication easy during our trip. While the car drove fine, it does have a few maintenance and cleanliness issues. The remote keyless entry didn't work, so we had to manually unlock the doors every time, the key fob was consistently saying low battery which made it difficult to start the car (had to hold the key fob up multiple times to the power button and to keep trying to turn the car on), the key would randomly say not detected in vehicle while driving, the “maintenance due soon” popped up every time when starting the car during the trip, the rubber weatherstripping seal along the door frame was falling away, and the interior had some noticeable residue at pickup. Additionally, the rearview camera works but is cloudy and a bit blurry, and the perspective is inaccurate (objects are significantly closer than they appear on screen) so we had to rely strictly on the mirrors. We also dealt with a rock hitting the windshield during the trip, which we immediately communicated to the host. The host was great to deal with and responded quickly, but the vehicle itself definitely needs a deep clean and some maintenance upkeep. May need to update photos for accurate look of vehicle for future renters due to blemishes on the car. Overall, great hosts, drivable with some concerns.

The pickup and drop-off were easy and convenient. The car not only looks nice, but it also drives great. Jesus was easy to communicate with and a very gracious host. If you’re looking for a car rental, Stax Luxury Rentals is the place to go. I highly recommend it. I will be back in the future.
