The absolute worst host. When I picked when I picked up the car at the airport, it was already four 4,900 miles over on its maintenance. John told me don’t worry about it. The car is good to drive. The next morning I woke up and started the car and it was a low coolant, warning label, and the temperature of the vehicle was all the way to the red line of hot. I sent him a photo of the condition of the vehicle and he told me that the car is safe to drive. About five hours later and only 100 miles drive driven in the entire trip. The check engine light came on and the car started to sputter. I called John and the first words out of his mouth were “what did you do to my car? It wasn’t acting like that before.” of course I called Turo and uploaded all of the photos and the conversation between him and I where he stated the car was safe to drive and then beginning in initiation of my refund all told I wasted about four hours of my vacation dealing with this situation and at no point in time did John apologize for what he said or the fact his car broke down.
