Car was not what I expected. Dirty exterior, caution light on dash lit, ongoing whiney noise while driving. Stayed local because I didn’t feel confident taking it further.

While communication was decent and the mpg was appreciated we didn’t like that the car smelled like cigarette smoke. We were told that it was from previous renters but if we had been given a heads up we’d have had time to choose another vehicle. The car ran loud and seemed to have some mechanical issues going on in addition to the tire sensor being lit. The owner offered to Venmo us a “little something” for the trouble but really we were just all around disappointed. We’ve rented 24 Turos over the last two years, had all five-star ratings ourselves and this by far was our worst experience.
