car was a compact Ford focus. The engine was puttering, and shifting from day one. (although I made sure I was in the right gear) the car wasn’t very clean, but the car was listed for very low price. You get what you pay for. I mentioned the maintenance concerns before returning the car, host was not accommodating or recommending any solutions. Turo recommended I get the car towed after seeing the videos... Host would rather call me names than take accountability. I like to support local business, but this was not a great experience.
• mechanical issues do not just disappear after someone complaining three hours prior.
• vehicle was inspected top to bottom, driven by two different mechanics with no fault codes showing.
• Carr was then driven by me and there are no issues with this vehicle.
• guest drove the car for three days and was 60 miles away and an hour before return time calls me telling me that there’s an issue with the car. This person didn’t want to drive the car back. Plain and simple.

NOT SO GREAT EXPERIENCE.
I rented this car for 17 days and had a terrible experience. The car sounded and felt like it was going to break down every single time I pressed the gas. It did not feel reliable or safe to drive for an extended period. On top of that, the owner came across as very money hungry and seemed upset because I chose to pay day-to-day instead of in larger lump sums — even though I never missed a payment and paid consistently in the way that was most convenient for me. Despite being current on payments, I was told to return the car, which left me unexpectedly without transportation to get to work. The lack of professionalism and understanding was extremely disappointing. I would never book again.
Disgruntled guest… Guest repeatedly extended, and paid well passed the expiration return time with poor communication. The car she speaks of has a five star rating. There’s nothing wrong with the vehicle.
