Good communication and pick up and drop off were easy. However, the car smelled extremely bad like marijuanna smoke, vape smoke, or some sort of smoke. It was so bad that the stench remained our whole trip and we even bought air fresheners to put in the car. Car was acceptably clean and drove fine, not perfect. A few minor things that didn’t make the car perfect besides the smell.

Host randomly didn’t want me renting for undisclosed reasons, I’ve been professional and open to communication prior to the rating.

The host was amazing, had great communication, was proactive with instructions, and even when I had issues and rebooking they helped a lot. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the quality of the car. Lots of loose parts in the interior and it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the dash kept warning me of an oil change. On the bright side, it really gets between 35-40 mpg even when driving fast and still has passing power when needed. Hopefully the host is able to fix a few of the quality of life issues I’ve mentioned here and make this experience for others since the Jetta is a great all around rental!
