I’ve used Turo twice before, and while those experiences were mostly positive, this one far exceeded them.
The car was in excellent condition—you would never guess it was a 2017. It was spotless, smooth, quiet, and ran beautifully. Any interior wear was too minor to notice, and I only found a couple of tiny exterior scratches because I was specifically looking. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the stereo sounded incredible, even with the music turned up.
The gas mileage was another huge bonus, especially with gas prices being what they are. I had never driven an electric or hybrid vehicle before, but no special knowledge was needed—I simply drove it like a regular car. Although it can be plugged in, I never needed to charge it; it automatically operated as a regular hybrid and still saved me so much money on gas. It’s perfect for anyone who wants the fuel savings of a hybrid without worrying about finding chargers or learning anything complicated.
Anna and her team were even more impressive. Although my hotel was too far away for delivery, they went out of their way to meet me halfway between the hotel and airport. They also let me choose where to return the car and met me in person for both pickup and drop-off. Their instructions were so detailed that I found both locations easily. Meeting them directly also meant avoiding airport parking fees, reimbursements, hidden keys, and a tedious contactless handoff.
Communication with Anna was excellent. I rarely needed help because everything was explained so thoroughly, but whenever I reached out, she responded almost immediately. Everyone was friendly, kind, and personable, and I never felt uncomfortable asking a question or worried that I would be made to feel foolish.
I felt completely safe in the car. It had useful modern features such as adaptive cruise control and a great backup camera, without all the excessive alarms and beeping that can make newer cars annoying to drive.
My previous Turo rentals weren’t bad, but the process could be confusing. This experience was incredibly simple and would be perfect for a first-time Turo user—or anyone who appreciates exceptional service.
I highly recommend this car and any other vehicle offered by Anna and her team. If I could give them more than five stars, I would at least double it!
