I rented the car for my birthday. It was such a fun drive and the weather was perfect for having the top down almost the whole day. The car is a little older and I wasn’t completely prepared - I didn’t have a phone mount so directions were hard since there want CarPlay, there was also no place to charge my phone.
It’s a great car and I would recommend renting, just prepare for an older model which is very clear/transparent in the listing I just didn’t do a great job of being realistic.

The wireless charger isn’t designed for larger phones, and even the latest 2025 Boxster still uses wired Apple CarPlay—Porsche tends to keep things a bit old school.
