Though Charlie was helpful in renting us a vehicle due to a 6+ hour flight delay, which caused us to cancel our booking with Budget since their counter closes at midnight, he knowingly rented us his vehicle with expired registration (tags). I was pulled over twice within three (3) days for the expired tags, with the first one resulting in a citation being mailed to Charlie, the second time the vehicle was impounded by the CHP, leaving me, my wife, and two boys, ages 10 and 11, stranded. Having to pay for two hotels ($588+), a $200 "one way" taxi ride from Ft. Bragg to Ukiah to rent another vehicle from Enterprise (an additional $521.87), and countless hours taken away from our vacation, along with the two kids feeling like criminals having to ride in the back of a CHP patrol car, this Turo rental was nothing short of disastrous, and could have easily been avoided had Charlir paid his 8 month past due registration. Highly disappointed with this whole experience and will be doing whatever is necessary to recover all the costs associated with this nightmare.

The car had a bad smell…making nose from breaks.. so I ended the trip early and I let him know and he came and picked up the car instead of my driveway and argued with how it smelt.

Good vehicle. Just need to update the license page info.

Charlie is awesome! When we went to pick the car up we noticed it had a flat tire on the back and we were able to get a hold of him right away, which was great! He was able to get AAA over there to take care of the issue promptly. After that the rest of the trip went smoothly. Car ran great!
