This is my first experience with Turo. The host responded quickly to my messages. Excellent communication!Pickup was easy. Some souvenirs from a prior guest were found in the vehicle which the host confirmed as not being his and gave permission to dispose. The car was reasonably clean inside and drives well except for a clunking upon acceleration which the host advised as being the engine turning on (hybrid). The car was within walking distance to me so that was a plus. Turo's daily insurance is twice that of a rental agency car with a much higher deductible ($500 vs. $0 with a rental agency) and the turo rental cost was more. The appeal seems to be possible convenience in picking up and dropping off and ability to pick a specific car.
