Headlight out and loose bumpers got from point a too point b

Not only did he tell me had to get a “oil change “ at 950 am when my trip started at 10am , after already canceling my other trip Same day , Car was fully damaged before I got car , literally drove on highway at a regular speed over a highway hill and the whole bumper came off . Host tried to say I caused damage to a car that was ALREADY messed up whole back bumper was holding on by a loose screw as shown by pictures . There’s a donut on tire which is ghetto af , and literally the whole back bumper was damaged before I got car besides, never had NO accident in this car that was already a piece of crap
Thank you for your feedback. The vehicle was delivered with documented pre-trip photos showing its condition prior to the start of your trip. Any concerns regarding maintenance or condition could have been addressed at check in. After the trip, additional damage was identified and handled through Turo’s standard claims process. We strive to provide reliable vehicles and clear communication for every guest.

For the price in comparison to other cars, the trip was good. Here are the issues: the car was dropped off already needing an oil change. The owner did offer to reimburse me if I brought it in for an oil change, but there’s no Turo policy protecting me from getting scammed/not paid back, so I didn’t. Also, it’s not my responsibility and I didn’t want to be liable if anything went wrong during it. The car smelled like weed and synthetic chemical air freshener, and the scent didn’t fade until about a week later.
Be aware that there is no snow brush, which I understand is not required, but it also feels like a necessity for a Turo rental in this area. It did snow on my trip & it would have been so much more convenient.
