Overall, the rental experience was smooth and the host was friendly and communicative. The vehicle itself drove well and I didn’t run into any mechanical issues during my trip, which I appreciated.
That said, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The exterior had some pollen buildup, which the host mentioned and wasn’t a big deal to me. However, the interior cleanliness could definitely use more attention—there were napkins and some leftover items in compartments and the backseat, which made the car feel less well-prepared for a new renter.
Additionally, the check engine light was on during the rental. While the host reassured me it wasn’t an issue, it can be a bit concerning as a renter to see that warning light on in a vehicle you don’t own.
Overall, not a bad experience, but with better cleaning and addressing dashboard warnings ahead of time, it would be a much more comfortable and professional rental.
