Very easy check out

Clean car and tank was full when we picked up. Unfortunately, after getting the key from the owner, it broke. The key was in two pieces before we could even hit the road to our destination. We messaged the owner once it happened and the owner responded “Hello. Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. We thought we fixed it... Unfortunelty we do not have a spare key..”. Which was disappointing because we didn’t know what to do. no spare key and our trip and car already paid for. we tried to make it work and the owner responded “maybe tape”, which was not going to hold the key together the entire SIX days we had the rental car. Which in my opinion, the owner wasn’t very accommodating, and seemed like the owner knew the key was already broken. We had to make it work in the situation we were in. good car though, loud brakes as well.
We apologize again for the inconvenience with the key during your trip. Unfortunately, we truly did not have a spare key available, and neither myself nor my business partner were nearby to assist at the time. We suggested temporary solutions only to try and avoid interrupting your trip further, and we apologize if our response came across as unprofessional. Regarding the brakes, we’ve inspected the vehicle and have not noticed any noise, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
