Car was fantastic as usual, pick up location is the local Nonstop Auto Shop, fantastic also and the Host....Edgar, is simply put...."Freakin' Awesome"!!!! He is so easygoing, a true pleasure to work with! He's not just a great Host, but truly a beautiful person. "Special" would be another word to describe him!! He is an incredibly nice guy that will work with you and do whatever he can to make you feel comfortable and extremely happy with your rental! I will not rent from another host on the Turo platform from the Reno/Sparks area!!! Thank you once again Edgar!!!

I have rented from Edgar once before, and the experience was acceptable overall. However, the vehicle exhibited a noticeable shudder and handled like a high-mileage car, which is not surprising given that it has over 240,000 miles.
On my most recent rental, the condition of the vehicle was significantly below expectations. There was a strong odor of urine, and the back seat had visible stains consistent with prior spills. I selected this vehicle primarily due to the unlimited mileage option for my trip.
During the rental period, I experienced an unrelated issue in which my wallet was stolen. I made multiple attempts to communicate with the host in good faith to address the situation and explore a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response.
Subsequently, I was charged additional fees that, while technically permissible under Turo’s policies, appeared excessive given the circumstances and the lack of communication. This raised concerns regarding fairness and professionalism in how the situation was handled.
Based on the vehicle’s condition, reliability concerns, and the overall experience with communication and billing, I would not rent from this host again.
Disputing refuel fee but you brought it to us completely empty when we gave it to you full.
