Aidan was a great host. His car was extremely clean, and the car drove fantastically. It was my first time driving an i8, and Aidan showed me some of the important quirks of the car (like how the gas cap opening button is on the driver’s side door).
Getting in and out of the car is more tricky than the average car, but if you’re used to sports cars you should be fine. I’m about 6’ 2 and I fit great. My wife and mom fit in the back seats (they are around 5’ 1). The back seats won’t fit an average sized adult, but it’s super cool that a car this sleek still fits some usable room back there.
Overall the car was a blast to drive. The versatility of being able to cruise in comfort/eco mode around town to then switching to sport mode, downshift with the paddle shifters, and safely overtake slow vehicles on the highway was an awesome experience. I’d recommend this car to everyone, even my 78 year old grandfather was able to get in the passenger seat on his own. Aidan is an awesome host, and his car is like a spaceship. 5 stars!
