Drop off was fine. My first time with Turo. I read a review before renting about AC going off. Asked if there was anything I should know about the car was told nothing. The AC went out in less than an hour. I was told to turn off and let rest. I am an HVAC technician and that was a frozen evaporator. It was so bad the air flow was obstructed and reduced to near nothing. Yes stopping and letting it thaw would allow cold air again until it froze again. The owner said he knew nothing about it and later when I told him what I read, story changed to it was fixed and several rentals had happened without out any complaints. Unit may have been topped off but leak was not properly repaired. In the Florida heat it is unacceptable.
Im sorry for the inconvenience however, I had dozens of trips with this car and only 1 person dated back in March stated there was an A/C problem. Nobody else who rated me stated that. If the problem was over 3 months ago and I got it checked by a licensed technician (which I am not) and they resolved it then there was no need to disclose that because it was fixed. The renters that had it after the ac issue had no complaints. I can't tell you that there is a problem if I don't see it
