Overall, the car itself was very nice and drove well, but my experience had several frustrating issues. When I first received the vehicle, I noticed multiple defects that weren’t expected, including peeling tint on the driver’s side window, which made the car feel less well-maintained.
The biggest inconvenience happened at check-in when we discovered the AC wasn’t working. Instead of a quick handoff, I ended up spending about an hour and a half with the host driving around to different auto shops to get it fixed. While I appreciate the effort to resolve the issue, it was frustrating to lose that much time—especially since it cut into time I had planned to spend relaxing at the beach.
To make matters worse, on the last day I found out the cruise control was also malfunctioning, which added to the overall disappointment. I also noticed the rims had been spray painted black, which didn’t match the listing photos—I would have much preferred the original silver rims, and it would be helpful if the owner updated the pictures online to reflect the car’s current condition.
In the end, the car was comfortable and enjoyable once everything was sorted out, but the condition at pickup and the multiple issues throughout the rental made the experience less smooth and more stressful than it should have been.
