The Good - Juri was prompt with his communications and the pickup/dropoff process at SFO was easy. The Mustang was clean and in good condition. No complaints about the vehicle itself or our time using it.
The Bad - The windshield was struck by a small object while driving, and it resulted in a small chip. I immediately notified Juri and understood that I'd likely be responsible for the repair of the chip. The communication about this issue is where things fell apart. Juri insisted on replacing the entire windshield, even though such chips are repairable. He stated that, even if the windshield could be repaired, he wanted a replacement of the windshield with an OEM windshield. The quote he provided was nearly double the cost of the typical market rate. Although I strongly believe that repairing the windshield is the reasonable outcome, I offered to cover the cost of a full replacement performed by a third party windshield replacement company. Juri agreed, but tried using a quote that included other items in addition to the windshield itself. When I called him on this, Juri gave me another inflated quote that did not match the quote provided by the windshield replacement company. It felt like he was still trying to get more money from me, and was not being honest in his communications. When I challenged the quote again, he finally agreed to the correct price and I paid for a replacement windshield.
It was a disappointing turn of events, because otherwise my experience with Juri and the vehicle went smoothly. If you decide to rent from Juri, I suggest factoring in the cost of Turo's full insurance coverage, because his demands for the scope of repairs are excessive. A small rock chip is a normal occurrence and a repair is the appropriate outcome. I tried to be generous by offering to pay for a whole new windshield, but was very disappointed at Juri's tactics to try and get more money out of me.

The vehicle was returned with a damaged windshield. The guest opened the claim and later wrote that “the experience with your vehicle was great.” Ford determined the windshield required replacement. His protection plan did not cover the damage, and he disagreed with Ford’s price-$1472. He chose to resolve it directly, personally offered $850, and paid it. The windshield was replaced. Only after that did he accuse me of dishonesty and “tactics.” I consider this review inaccurate and retaliatory.

Juri was a great host! The Mustang was exactly as described—clean, fun to drive, and made our San Francisco trip even better. Communication was good throughout the trip, and he was accommodating when we asked about an earlier return. Pickup and drop-off instructions were clear, and everything went smoothly.
