Excellent rental, convenient

Fun little zippy car to drive. I had it for a month and enjoyed it. Host was responsive.

Sadly there were many issues here- the host was very responsive, but the vehicle was overpriced for the year/condition. Lyft can't find this place, only Uber. The car was not at the address given, and I had to walk on an unsafe road to find the parking lot (not well lit at night either). The listing pics were not accurate (car has been side swiped and has a massive scratch down the right side). Gas was at 1/4 tank upon pick up. Next was the inspection, looks invalid as of November- but after a lengthy call with Turo, the host sent a link with NH laws explaining it was valid until April. The abs system was causing unsafe brakes, and the check engine light came on. I made it 15min to work and back to the parking in Plaistow NH safely, but driving very carefully. I asked for a swap, but the alternative was a 2008 Honda Fit that was also overpriced, and the host says he doesn't allow Turo to do swaps...my initial total was $135, and the remainder of my trip would have been $182. No other cars in the area either that arent this host. He host was not very accommodating, and does not meet the Turo standard. Another customer with similar mechanical issues is here with me also trying to return a car from this host. I think a little work on the cars and he could have a nice fleet. Until then, save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else if you can.
