To be brutally honest, this trip was a NIGHTMARE! From the car quality, the safeness, and the response from the car owner and Turo customer service, I never felt so endangered for my wife and I (who is disabled from a recent car accident). We rented the car for a business trip, car died while driving on the freeway, called owner and Turo customer service, was told that tow truck will pick up the car but won’t take my wife and I to safe location. Was told to call an Uber from the freeway…. Turo said they will find a “solution” to get my wife and I out of danger. Never got a solution! No call back, NOTHING! We ended up calling our friend to pick us up from the freeway, two hours away. After calling Turo to give them our exact coordinates to pick up the car, of course they entered the wrong coordinates and had trouble finding the car… which lead to 20+ calls from tow truck companies that couldn’t locate the car throughout the night… My wife and I left to our business trip at 3:30pm, car broke down at 5:40pm, friends picked us up at 8:40pm, tow companies called to complain that Turo gave them the wrong pickup address at 11pm, notified owner close to 1am that we received a text that their car had been delivered back to the owner’s address on file, and stopped answering calls from tow companies at 2:30am. We shouldn’t have had to mediate between the owner, Turo, and the towing companies.

Jin’s car was great! He made renting easy and communication throughout the trip was phenomenal.
