We arrived at the pickup location at the time we told them we would be there to find the car was not there. After waiting 40 mins, we were told the car still wouldn’t arrive for another hour. This was a major inconvenience which caused us to pay for an uber, missing a work meeting, and delaying our trip 1 hour. They did end up delivering the car 2 hours past our pickup time at our requested location, but we were behind schedule at this point.
The car arrived with 1/4 tank of gas so had to get gas right away and empty boxes in the trunk which we had to dispose of and some personal items assuming from the owner.
The car also had 6 air fresheners to cover up cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. We found the cigarette smoke was better than the 6 air fresheners so we threw them away.
A yellow explanation point kept appearing on the dash board throughout our trip alerting us there was a tire issue or a system issue.
Communication was hard because it was an automative system or you got someone new each time. We would get “let me escalate that to the team,” but never receive a response back.
We requested a refund for the $80 delivery charge and for the inconveniences we experienced. They felt providing us the extra miles we drove for free, but that only equaled $62. (99,076-99,983 additional 107 x 0.58=$62.08). I think the least they could do is refund the $80 especially since it cost us an additional uber.
Overall, we were very excited to drive around in this vehicle, but felt very disappointed in the end.
