Was really disappointed in my experience. Wasn’t from the area and had to take an Uber to pick up the car and the Uber driver expressed how dangerous the area was and was worried about dropping us off at the location. After picking up the car, I reached out to the host to see if it was possible to drop off the vehicle at a different location close by as we felt incredibly unsafe once arriving and getting our vehicle and didn’t feel comfortable going back to that location. The host expressed that was no option at all, and there was no accommodation. Reached out to support to try and drop off the car at a different location as we felt very unsafe and support said that we had to pay a small fee if we wanted to drop it off somewhere else which we were happy to do, but the host refused and said that that wasn’t an option. Then later messaged and said that people have tried to steal their cars before and that they’re in an unsafe position and not us which didn’t make any sense as we weren’t stealing the car and didn’t want to keep the car any longer, we just didn’t feel safe where the car was being dropped off and picked up. We expressed our concerns and how we were willing to pay whatever amount as a couple of young females in a high crime location and were very scared and the host was very rude about it. Highly don’t recommend if you have young kids or are females!!
