Car was a lil dirty and windshield needs work, but overall was nice.

Great car, helped out for sure while mine was in the shop.

Clearly, I have mixed feelings about my experience renting with the L.A. Spot as a host. This was my first time with them. Communications were consistent, but at times, confusing in the same breath. Instructions getting to the parking lot from the airport Skytrain were rather vague or non-specific. The parking area itself was gravel lot and looked sketchy at best. Instructions for finding the car key was misleading as well with the mention of a lockbox. The host actually left the car key on the front tire of the driver's side! After messaging the host, it took a fair amount of time to find out where it was..
The car itself was relatively clean. However, the front & back windshields were smudged with clearly visible wipe marks, presumably from a dirty cloth. Part of the windshield blade was hanging off the rod! Moreover, the front windshield was "pitted" in 3-4 different places, primarily on the passenger side-not prominent, but noticeable. The vehicle itself ran smoothly with no discernable issues.

That being said, I was made aware that the left front headlight was out on my first full day with the vehicle. I immediately contacted the host and was directed to come down to their facility in South Phoenix. Well, I was staying in N. Scottsdale and had a full schedule of professional business to attend to. I had to change my plans and drive several miles down to S. Phoenix! I didn't want to get pulled over for a blown headlight at night, so I made the drive AND requested another vehicle in exchange. That didn't happen! I was told they could replace/fix the headlight instead. The attendant supposedly fixed the light. I adamantly requested some measure of credit or recompense for the significant inconvenience. Despite the request, this was NEVER addressed by the hosts!! Subsequently, the same headlight went out AGAIN two days later, putting me at risk with law enforcement. This was an exhaustive & unnecessary situation. I interacted with several different hosts @ L.A. Spot during my week-long rental, but nothing was resolved in a professional and accountable manner. I was deeply disappointed and inconvenienced. This was the first time I had a less than stellar or exemplary experience with Turo. L.A. Spot did not reflect the high standards I have so often come to expect with Turo.
