Rental instructions and process was super easy. The lot is directly in front of the sky train station. Car was great, made me want to buy one myself.

Overall, the BMW itself was great to drive and the rental process was fairly straightforward, but there are a few things future renters should know.
If you’re picking up from the location near the 44th Street Sky Train station, pay very close attention to the pickup instructions. The lot is extremely close to the station, but there are several very similar addresses in the area. It was confusing trying to figure out exactly where to go, especially walking in the Arizona summer heat with luggage.
The pickup lot itself is a gravel lot behind a barbed-wire gate. Unfortunately, my rental had a nail in one of the tires, causing a slow leak from the time I picked it up until I returned it. I was able to manage it throughout my trip, so it didn’t ruin my experience, but it’s definitely not something you want to be monitoring while on vacation.
When I reported the issue, LA Auto Spot recommended that I return the vehicle and pay to have the tire patched since the damage occurred during my rental period. While I understand that perspective, given the condition of the pickup lot, it left me wondering whether the nail may have come from there.
Overall, the car was enjoyable, but I’d recommend carefully inspecting the tires before leaving the lot and allowing yourself extra time to find the pickup location.
