This car was great for our trip. Pick up and drop off were easy, plus the car was very clean. Communication with Barry and his team were excellent and the car does great on gas. We would definitely book with them again!

DO NOT RENT:
I rented this vehicle and drove it from Phoenix Airport to Sedona for only 1.5 to 2 hours. While driving through the Sedona mountains at approximately 4,400 feet elevation, the car began flashing a continuous warning alarm telling me to contact customer service immediately and go to the nearest service center— the brake pads needed to be replaced. On top of that, there were warnings for low tire pressure and that the vehicle was overdue on scheduled maintenance. I did not feel safe driving under those conditions on mountain roads, and I shouldn’t have had to.
I called Turo customer service, who agreed the vehicle should be returned and should not continue to be driven. The host, however, argued with the customer service representative, insisted the car was fine to drive, refused to have it towed, and then hung up on them..
The next day, he picked up the vehicle and he drove the car to a gas station in Rimrock — further away than anywhere I had driven — filled it up, and sent me an invoice for the gas. I drove from Phoenix to Sedona. He drove to Rimrock. That receipt has nothing to do with me, and I’ve disputed the charge with Turo accordingly.
The host noted that he was more upset about losing two weeks of rental income than he was about my safety driving a car with active brake warnings down mountain roads. He is unethical, dismissive, and I would not trust him or this vehicle.
I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Turo trying to resolve a situation caused entirely by this host’s negligence — all for a car I drove for less than two hours. I was in Arizona for only three days, was left completely stranded without a replacement vehicle, and lost my entire vacation itinerary because of it. Rent from someone who actually values your safety. Future renters deserve to know exactly what kind of experience to expect.
