I usually have a good experience with Turo but not so much with this one. When I rent a car out, I expect it to look like the pictures and also be clean with no codes or anything.
Upon pick up, the car was very dirty inside and outside and there were codes for an airbag malfunction and tire pressure which I filled at Wawa. The car was very sticky inside and there was a lot of dirt and bird poop.
Driving also felt very weird, almost unsafe. Throttle response was very off. Almost no communication with the host unless you spammed them or double/triple texted them.
45 minutes after I left, I called them and told them about the issues and asked if I could get a refund and they said it wouldn't be a full refund and would charge me for the time used. I get it, but I think if they're going to charge $220 for a whole day or per hour for the inconvenience, the car should be in tippy top shape.
I wasn't expecting the car to be perfect, but I do not think this should be rented out nor would I recommend this car.
