Honest review - I unfortunately did not have the best experience with renting this vehicle. I took pictures of several dents, scratches, and other minor issues with the interior of the car. I submitted them prior to starting my trip. The saying “you get what you paid for” instantly comes to mind.
Reservation and pick up went smoothly. However, once I began driving the vehicle approximately 30 minutes service light notifications appeared on the dashboard related to tire service. I immediately snapped a photo of it. I responsibly and safely went to the nearest gas station to check the tire’s air pressure. I also put air in the tires. I shared this with the host (Philly Car Rental). They stated the battery sensors are probably dead and I am good.
As I continue to get back on the road to my destination, the tire actually popped while driving in the center lane on the highway. While under pressure and unsafe during the time, I cautiously braked and looked in my side mirrors to ensure other cars were not coming so I could safely pull over onto the shoulder. I contacted the host to let them know that the car sensors actually worked and there was something legitimately wrong with the vehicle. I let them know I was contacting roadside assistance as I had a protection plan.
However, it was going to be an additional $100 for the tow. I also thought they maybe a spare tire was in the trunk. Thankfully, it was. I changed out the popped tire with the spare donut. To my surprise the spare tire was flat but allowed me to make it to the nearest gas station. I carefully drove there to park the vehicle.
I reached back out to the host and asked them to tow the vehicle. They informed me that if they tow they would end the trip early. They suggested I outreach to Turo to get a uber back home. I was grateful and thankful for that. Hence the reason I rated this trip two stars.
Conclusively, I did not have a good experience with this negligent car rental and could have lost my life. I appreciate conducting business together. Unfortunately, I am not comfortable renting cars from here again. Thanks.

Not my 1st ride with Vadim........host is very eager to explain everything to you. communication was open and detailed. Any questions I had.....host responded in a timely matter. Quality of his cars are superb.....i drove a few of them. I enjoy renting from this host.....ensures that you are receiving a safe and operable vehicle
Don't be discouraged about pick up location..... it is near bus routes that run to the transportation center so that is helpful
