The car absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke… It was unbearable at times, especially on hot days. This was not a case of somebody smoking in it the last time, this is definitely a longtime smoker’s vehicle. I emailed the owner twice about it with no response. If you have any sort of sensitivity, smoke allergy, or just don’t care for your clothes to stink, then this is absolutely not the vehicle for you.

Pickup was ok. Host was nice, but had a low tire light. Host said it was just a bad sensor and not to worry. The next day I noticed the tire was almost flat. Found a station 20 min from where we were staying. We had to leave a wedding rehearsal dinner early to get air. The next day it was low again and afraid to drive much. After the wedding we left the reception early to get air to hold us over night. We were in Waterville Valley NH and drove again 20 min to town again to find them closed at 9:45 Pm. Went to three more stations and all closed with an almost flat tire. Ended up at a fire station who aired us up. Next morning almost flat again and had to air two more times to get back to Boston. Had friend follow us over fear we would have a flat on I-93. Very nerve wracking trip.

This Turo rental experience was the worst I have had with a Turo host to date…for that matter, any rental car experience:
- The car drop-off was hours late, making me late for plans made.
- The car was remarkably filthy, both inside and out. Pics to prove.
- There was a strong smell of marijuana in the car. I had to make excuses with valets for days due to the smell. The car owner claimed the smell was a “fragrance.”
- The car was dropped off to me with 3/4 tank of fuel.
The communication with the owner(s?) was initially great, but poor subsequently.
-Multiple parties responded from a pool of 4 hosts(?)
- The responses were random.
- Language translation tools they were using caused ongoing confusion.
- Car was seemingly safe though there was a slow leak in the driver’s rear tire that is allegedly my doing.
It’s not my style to jam the experience down the host’s throat but in this case, I do not recommend.
I should have read the prior reviews of them and this car in advance. Lesson learned.

The guest is refusing to pay for the fuel and toll charges and is attempting to pressure us by implying they will leave a negative review if we do not waive these legitimate fees.
