Thanks, Flora. Unfortunately, an unexpected issue came up during your trip. The car was taken to a mechanic, repaired, and is back on the road. We do our best to stay on top of maintenance, but sometimes things happen unexpectedly. Appreciate your patience and feedback.

It's regrettable that the owner refused to cover Turo's fees to switch out the tire when it went flat on me, unloading the cost onto me. Also unfortunate that the owner requested that I pay for the four plugs to repair the tire. At four plugs, it necessitates a full replacement, which leads me to believe the vehicles are not well-maintained. For this reason, I cannot recommend the car or owner.
For future guest/host id like to provide some context. The vehicle was driven for three days before the flat tire occurred. Before and after trip photos submitted through Turo show the issue was not present at check-in. Jose attempted to rely on a low tire pressure review from over a year ago to avoid responsibility, despite that issue being resolved long before his trip. The vehicle is well maintained and highly rated. I would not recommend this renter.
