Easy pickup with lockbox and host was very communicative!

I liked being able to rent this car for a month. I enjoyed being able to plug it in and got 28-40mi with it. However, there seems to be a lot of damage and maintenance that needs to be addressed in this car. There's a crack on the windshield that's small but noticeable from the driver's side. The owner seemed to be aware of this and assured me that I would not be charged, but this seems like a safety concern that should be addressed. The side view mirrors have damage on them and one even popped out when unfolding. I had to pop it back in. The left door childlock is stuck as others have mentioned. The driver's side window will jam when it's rolling up. I also noticed the car sort of swerves if you need to brake harshly or approach higher speeds; I am not sure if the tread wear is uneven or something.

Overall though I used it for a couple long road trips and it worked out nicely. Communication with the owner was easy. Pickup and dropoff was easy. The trunk can fit a lot of stuff with one of the seats down. Inflatable paddleboard, 3 small suitcases, and 3 passengers fit comfortably. I would rent again if some of these fixes were made

Not so great on gas but rides just fine. Lots of visible wear and tear inside and outside of the car. Driver side window kept getting stuck and not wanting to go up

I rented a car in April for 18 days. It performed very well, including on long climbs. I visited many national parks, including Sequoia, the Grand Canyon, Zion, and Death Valley. The trunk fits two suitcases, the air conditioning works, and I can easily drive on the highway with everyone, without worrying about it being an older car. The owner responded quickly to my questions. I came to the US as a tourist, and this is a great deal for seeing the local sights. I recommend it.
