I would not recommend this vehicle or this host.

Before booking, I briefly reviewed previous reviews and noticed that several renters had mentioned A/C issues. I assumed the problem had been repaired, especially since those reviews were from earlier rentals. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

When I picked up the vehicle, the A/C was not working properly. I contacted the host, who arrived within a few minutes. He explained that the weather was very hot, the windows were not tinted, and that I needed to keep the A/C on a lower setting at first and then gradually increase it after the system had been running for a while. While I appreciated his quick response, the A/C still did not perform as expected.

Then, after only about 3 hours of driving, warning lights came on, the vehicle began beeping, and I no longer felt comfortable continuing to drive it. I had to leave the car in a parking lot and arrange an Uber home, which completely disrupted my trip.

The host did communicate with me and advised me to cancel the trip after the vehiclexwas not operational. However, this was my first time using Turo, and I was not comfortable doing so because I did not understand the process. When I contacted Turo Support, they informed me that it was best not to cancel the trip myself and that they would handle the situation.

I do want to acknowledge that after several hours working with Turo Support, Turo ultimately provided a full refund and Uber vouchers to help cover my transportation costs. I appreciate Turo for resolving the situation.

However, given that previous reviews had already mentioned A/C problems and that I experienced similar issues, followed by a vehicle warning light and breakdown, I was disappointed with the overall experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this vehicle or this host.

Shortly after pick up I noticed the A/C was not blowing out cold air, I reached out to the host to let him know and he said it was climate controlled and I had to be patient. After driving for 20minuets the air got a little cooler but not by much at all considering how hot it was outside. If I had to wait at a traffic light or sit in the car while it was running it would blow out hot air. Also I could not charge my phone in the car as the charger port did not work so my phone died and it was very much an inconvenience.also upon arrival i recognize the area of this host. My aunt rented from him back in November and I was with her for this trip and it was inconvenient as well, the radio and air did not work and the care leaked radiator fluid. He asked us not to leave a bad review but this is unacceptable he could atleast let the renter know more about the vehicle. I could not use my phone because of charger and missed important calls and the air was very inconvenient I was hot and the icing on the treats for my event that i rented for melted because of the heat and lack of A/C
