Our experience with this Turo rental was extremely disappointing and honestly put a damper on our entire trip. Communication from the host stopped entirely, leaving us without the information we needed about where the car was parked. We ended up spending approximately 45 minutes just trying to find the vehicle, which was incredibly frustrating, especially while traveling with two children.
Once we finally got into the car, we discovered that the front passenger seat was wet and had a strong, overwhelming smell of urine. The odor was so unbearable that we could not comfortably close the windows, even after trying to air the car out. Having to deal with such an unsanitary smell throughout our trip was unacceptable and made the experience extremely uncomfortable.
On top of that, the brakes were very loud, and the tire pressure warning light was on from day one, which raised additional concerns about the vehicle’s condition and maintenance.
What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of communication from the host when we tried to address these issues. Renting a car should provide convenience and peace of mind, not create additional stress and frustration during a family trip.
Overall, this rental was a huge disappointment. Between the lack of communication, difficulty locating the vehicle, overwhelming urine odor, and concerns about the car’s condition, this was not the experience we paid for. I hope Turo takes these concerns seriously because customers deserve a clean, properly maintained vehicle and a host who is responsive when problems arise.

Not so much of everything works in the car, but it was a fun ride windows and passenger seat. One on the right does not work. Brakes are really really bad steering alignment is off but other than that it’s something to go from .8 to point B.
