Rent somewhere else! Absolutely the worst Turo experience I’ve ever had.
The car reeked of a disgusting combination of weed and cigarette smoke from the moment I picked it up. Then, on the second day, the tire blew out and completely shredded. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already notified the host a few hours after driving the car off the lot that the tire pressure light had come on.
Thankfully, I paid for roadside assistance because otherwise I would’ve been completely stranded. Even then, I had to wait TWO HOURS for help to arrive.
And the co-host’s response? They couldn’t have cared less. Instead of taking responsibility for providing a safe, properly maintained vehicle, I was told that I “should’ve filled the tires with air.” Seriously?!
This entire rental was a complete nightmare from start to finish. Between the disgusting smell, the tire issue, the lack of concern from the host, and being left waiting for hours, this experience was beyond unacceptable.
Save yourself the headache, frustration, and potential danger—rent somewhere else. I would absolutely NOT recommend this rental to anyone.
