If I could rate this experience a -10 I would do it in a minute. I plan to pursue a refund with the company. I tried to work it out with the host. He knew the status of the car was disgusting. Wrecked, stained seats and smelled like someone smoked 100 packs of cigarettes. The pick up location is misleading. It IS NOT at the airport it is a 13 minute van ride after waiting over an hour for the van. I ended up taking a taxi (another $35 charge) then when asked if the shuttle would be there on when I dropped the car off at 2:30am for a 5:00 flight. The hosts response was “the shuttle will run all night” . Since there was no confirmed time for shuttle pick up, I scheduled an uber for an additional- $10.00). I requested a different car due to the smell…it was overwhelming….host response …no other car…of course the lot you are dropped off to pick up the car doesn’t have additional cars. So what option do you have but take the car. I’m have no doubt the host’s response will be something related to TURO policy. All I have to say is…YOU ARE the HOST. You should have made this problem right …not TURO.
