I had a generally positive experience with this rental. The car itself was great to drive, clean, reliable, and did exactly what I needed it to do during my trip.
The pickup and drop-off process was secure, although a bit confusing due to the complex layout. Thankfully, the provided video and directions were helpful in navigating the location.
One thing I would strongly recommend to future renters is to plan your full rental period upfront if you think you may need additional time. While the vehicle is priced daily and rates can fluctuate, extensions may not reflect the same discounts that are often applied to longer bookings from the beginning. In my case, when I initially checked pricing through insurance and roadside assistance, the daily rate was under $65. However, when I later attempted to extend my reservation the same day due to fatigue and not wanting to rush the return, the extension rate increased to $99. Booking the full week initially would have resulted in significantly lower overall cost.
Another point to be aware of is that there appear to be multiple individuals assisting with the vehicle or account. I received communication from several different people during the trip, which was unusual compared to my prior rentals where communication was handled by a single host. While this may be part of their operational model, it felt a bit overwhelming at times.
The secure lockbox system for pickup and return worked well, though I personally prefer meeting the host directly when possible.
Overall, the vehicle quality and basic process were good. Based on my personal preferences regarding pricing consistency and communication, I would likely choose a different host in the future. If extension pricing had remained consistent with the original rate, this would have been a 5-star experience.
