I’m genuinely disappointed with this rental experience. When I picked up the Corvette C8, I was only told at that moment that the car had a cracked windshield and side damage. no advance notice. While the host did pick me up from the airport, I faced a major issue during the return. The host had promised to take me back to the airport, but when it came time to drop off the car, I tried contacting him multiple times to figure out where to meet, no response. The Turo app suggested a drop-off location, but it led me to an Outback Steakhouse that had no parking lot whatsoever. I obviously couldn’t just leave the car at a restaurant. After more calls to Turo support, I had to find a parking garage on my own. This entire confusion made me miss my flight, and I had to spend $326 on a new ticket. Overall, the lack of communication, inaccurate drop-off instructions, and broken promises made this an awful experience. Based on this, I won’t be renting from this host again.
