I was originally going to plan to use this vehicle for Uber which I originally verified with the owner and they agreed. Come to find out the vehicle not only had an expired registration copy from 2024 (which is required per Turo policy and guidelines) but maintenance is REQUIRED and past due as of 12 days. Didn’t even have a Turo sticker which indicates I am renting a car at that. There was a couple damages on the vehicle that was not listed in the promo before renting the vehicle. I am beyond blessed and thankful that I was able to get a refund thanks to Dars, but I had to go through 2 chats and another agent to get to Dars. Unbelievable, I’m not the type to complain. As a guest, I shouldn’t have to go extra lengths to make sure I’m covered in the event if a cop pulls me over or even worse in a car crash.

The car was right like I needed for my trip. Easy pickup and dropoff, the car was very functional, clean and great gas mileage! Host was very responsive when I had a question. I would book this again!

Didn't have any mechanical problem.
Car was dirty and confused with check in. Car key was not working at first time because the key was too cold. When we warmed up, it worked fine.
Windshield wiper was broken and doesnt wipe the window well.

I was gonna give a 1 star initially for a dirty car inside and out but since it at least got me to and from my destination I gave it another star. I understand the car just came back from another trip and the owners were on vacation but why put it up for another long trip without having someone else available to clean and check fluids. Outside looked like it went off-roading and inside was dirty, trashed, dog hair on seats, sticky doors and diver wheel. Even had dry blood on the inside rear door handle. It was a rainy day and driver side windshield wiper were worn and it had no wiper fluid. I was grossed out but It was too late to get the other 2 choices I seen days before. I had to stop and buy disinfectant wipes and windshield fluid. First time I ever had to do this. Unbelievable!
