The car reeked of marijuana. It smelled so bad that we had to return it. Even worse, the owner knew that it reeked and still tried rent it to me. I had to spend hours returning the car and trying to find an alternative, which there were none. And Turo refused to do anything but refund my original payment. So now I’m stuck without a car and absolutely no compensation. Horrible experience.
