TERRIBLE HOST. DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM !!! He showed up 20 minutes late to drop of the car, which sucked because I had already had a late flight in. I had to call his personal phone THREE TIMES to reach him and he didn’t answer the first two times, he didn’t provide any details on how to check-in/access the car beforehand. When he FINALLY showed up, he proceeded to tell him to come out to the car after I was very adamant about contactless delivery because I’m a female who was traveling alone at the moment. I reminded him that Turo specifically stated that it was a contactless delivery and that’s when he sent the lock box details and ect. He proceeded to stand by the car like a creep after all of this. For my safety, I hopped on a call with a family member and he didn’t walk away from the car till he heard me on the call talking about how he was being VERY WEIRD. Then he tried to make up and excuse and say he was trying to apologize for being later after he already apologized through the Turo app.
When I returned the car, he tried to say the lock box was broke and the key wasn’t in there. THAT WAS A LIE. I made sure to document EVERYTHING just in case I need to sue. Be lawyer ready because he seems like a scam artist and liar.
I’m currently trying to repair the lock box that this guest broke. You can see my comments on her profile. I’m so sorry that my profile got dirty because of this rude guest
