Great seller and vehicle, 10/10!

Kevin was great! Really responsive, helpful, kind and he took the time to explain how to best use the car, tips and tricks. He’s super kind!
The car had issues on its own that were outside Kevin’s control. First, make sure you have charging stations around you, and that it never gets less than 10%. Since the Leaf is the cheaper model, a lot of charging stations aren’t compatible. It dies super quickly. I was commuting to work everyday and basically had to charge everyday. Granted, I was on the highway, and it was hot so I had to keep the AC on. The battery starts dying fast dropping 30-40% a day, sometimes more depending on where I was going. I think the meter gives a rough estimate of how much is left but it felt like a much smaller capacity than it says, so keep in mind you’ll have to charger sooner than you think. Depending on the stations you use, the free charging stations take over 6 hours to fully fill up. Electrify america takes 30 mins but they don’t let you charge if you’re less than 10%. It felt like a lot of hassle to find charging stations, make sure I could make it, and then stand and wait for it to finish. Calling Nissan for road side assistance for the Leaf didn’t help much, since they said they don’t have charging for EVs and you you have to wait for it to die for them to help you. Overall great experience with the owner, but the rental is good for small distances around a lot of charging stations.

I really enjoyed working with Kevin and using his Leaf. The pickup and drop off were seamless and Kevin gave a great overview of vehicle nuances. He was also accommodating to schedule changes. The car was perfect. Once getting used to the slight differences versus a combustion engine (not really many) it was super smooth to drive. We were able to go quite far and with a little planning did not have to charge too often. Easily the best rental experience I have had and this sold me on using Turo and EVs going forward - Would give more stars if possible.

I had need of wheels very last minute and Kevin was most accommodating to every need the entire rental. Amazing host.
