Halfway into our trip we happened to drop something on the road and noticed the front right tire of the car was severely starting to rot/ shred. We instantly become worried and informed the host and he just said “it should probably be serviced but we should be fine to drive”.
Upon further inspection it did not seem safe to drive whatsoever. The only option the host gave us was to leave the car and find a new Turo ride which severely inconvenienced our trip. We had to wait for hours on the side of the road until midnight, and pay to uber 40 minutes away to a replacement car with another host.
Then, he proceeded to charge us $35 for not refilling the gas which I found shocking considering the tire issue was a negligence on his part and impacted our ability to safely drive and get gas.
I would not recommend this company whatsoever. There is zero care for safety or human decency.
