I had the unfortunate experience of receiving two different vehicles within two days, and both had cockroach infestations. While Turo customer support was apologetic, listened to my concerns, and worked through the issue after I provided photo evidence, the host’s behavior was completely unacceptable.

Instead of taking responsibility, the host initially blamed a previous guest and then later suggested the problem was caused by where I parked the vehicle ( Only went to target and the beach- all public, concrete locations). During our conversation, he became so aggressive and loud that I felt uncomfortable and had to record the call for my own protection. Not once did I receive an apology.

Dealing with this situation while on vacation was frustrating enough, but being blamed and spoken to in such an unprofessional manner made the experience far worse. Hosts should be held to a higher standard of cleanliness and customer service. I appreciate Turo’s efforts to address the matter, but the host’s conduct was unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
My concerns have been brought to Turo’s customer support, as I would not want anyone to go through what I had to with this host.

Very difficult to work with. She was dissatisfied with the vehicle due to bugs, and we did our very best to address her concerns. We even accommodated her request for a replacement vehicle. She used some of the gas in the replacement vehicle, and we chose not to charge her for it. We went above and beyond to assist her throughout the rental, but unfortunately, she was very uncooperative. There are two sides and the truth. Our truth lies in our hundreds of customer reviews. So you be the judge.

From the awareness on how to utilize the vehicle itself, to the smooth booking process, the communication,the flexibility, the professionalism, and overall kindness throughout both trips, completely exceeded my expectations. You made me feel comfortable, valued, and taken care of every step of the way, and that truly makes all the difference when renting through Turo.
I can't go without mentioning how amazing and convenient it was renting an EV. This experience completely changed my perspective on electric vehicles. Not only was the car smooth, quiet, reliable, and enjoyable to drive, but the amount of money saved compared to spending on gas in a traditional vehicle was honestly incredible. Being able to avoid constantly stopping at gas stations and seeing how much more affordable traveling became made a huge impact on my trip overall. It was efficient, stress-free, and much more practical than I expected.
Beyond the vehicle itself, what really stuck with me was the level of care and hospitality you showed. You can genuinely tell when someone takes pride in what they do, and your dedication shines through in every interaction. Experiences like this should definitely be mirrored throughout Turo, hosts like you create an atmosphere that feels welcoming, trustworthy, and personal instead of just transactional.
Thank you again for going above and beyond to make everything so seamless. I truly truly appreciate your patience cause I'm sure it may have been tested with me there for sometime and I genuinely appreciate your understanding, along with the kindness and accommodation u gave throughout the rental.
