The car was great, clean and in immaculate condition. Pickup was pretty easy. I'm knocking one star off for some of the challenges with communication I experienced throughout my trip. Response times were quite inconsistent and there were instances where I had to wait until the following day to hear back. Even when initially reaching out after booking to try and arrange dropoff, it took multiple hours for my message to be replied to. It wasn't a deal breaker but it was frustrating for when I was trying to coordinate plans.

I also found it a bit off putting that the host charged me for being about 1.5 gallons off a full tank after driving the car back to Ontario airport. I understand that the host did not service the LA area and told me that it wouldn't work to drop the car off at LAX (where I was flying out from), which was fine, but I figured at the very least they would be flexible with the fact that I drove the car 40 miles from LA back to Ontario to drop it off, thus expending some of the gas I'd just filled the car with prior to the trip. It felt like they could've been more understanding and helped me out just a little in that regard. I also informed them about this through messaging after dropping the car off and received no response except for a notification from Turo of a $40 extra charge for a gallon of gas and a convenience fee.

Again, car was great, I've definitely had more responsive and flexible hosts. If you're flying into and out of Ontario I would generally recommend this option. If you need some flexibility with pickup or dropoff however, you might be better suited looking elsewhere.
